HMC uses Green Energy

It has been official for a few weeks: HMC uses 100% green energy within its production plants and sites.

If “helping health” is in our Mission, doing so in a sustainable manner also as regards energy supply has become a fundamental step and in our opinion consistent with our history, our path and our core business. For this reason, through Axpo Italia, we can now boast the certificate of full use of electricity from renewable sources, certified with guarantees of origin, in full compliance with the resolution ARG/elt 104/11.

A few days after the closure of the Climate change conference (COP 26) in Glasgow, at a time when the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are becoming increasingly urgent, HMC intends to spread this choice both internally and externally as an example and inspiration, as a reference, as a demonstration of an approach that points not so much to declarations of intent but to the concreteness of choices that always combine the strategy aimed at development with an attention to people and to the environment.
